Purpose-built for excellence

Bianco’s state-of-the-art central workshop is the nerve centre of our structural steel operations.

This 17,000 sqm purpose-built facility at Gepps Cross in South Australia houses over 120 Bianco Structural Steel operation staff, and also features a modern three-storey administration office complex.

Workshop capabilities include processing, fabrication, surface treatment and despatch. We currently employ over 80 workshop staff including boilermakers, welders, painters, CNC operators, processors, production, despatch and supervisors.

The workshop incorporates over 30 boilermaker/ welder stations, supported by fully automated processing beam lines and material handling transfer tables.

Our overhead cranes are strategically situated to minimise double handling of materials and structures.

They include:

• 1 x 12.6 tonne overhead crane

• 1 x 10 tonne overhead crane

• 9 x 5 tonne overhead cranes.
