We are proud to be involved in the Government's 'Tools for your trade' initiative, which encourages eligible New Apprentices by helping to alleviate the financial burden of purchasing toolkits essential for their field of work.

How it works

From 1 July 2005, apprentices who start in a New Apprenticeship in a trade experiencing skills shortages will receive a toolkit after completing the first three months of their apprenticeship.

The toolkit will initially be provided to the New Apprentice's employer, who will make the kit available to the New Apprentice to use.

After the New Apprentice has completed a further six months, they will be able to keep the kit.
