Fat Batts

Insulco Fat Batts are manufactured from glass wool bonded with a thermosetting resin. The Fat Batts are both light weight and easy to install in; walls, ceilings, under floors and in roofs. The Fat Batts are designed to fit between the majority of wall studs in domestic applications. They provide high performance thermal insulation performance all year round. Insulco Fat Batts can reduce heating and cooling energy costs by up to 50%.

Party Wall Batts

Party Wall Batts are bonded using thermosetting resin to form a robust, stable batt that provides fire protection at extremely high temperatures. Party Wall Batts are used in order to maintain the fire-rating between tenancies in which gaps could occur. The batts are designed to provide 2 hours fire resistence at the junction between the top of a partition wall and the roof structure.

Sisalation

Sisalation (commonly known as foil) is designed for applications on both walls and roof’s. The product has an outer layer of aluminum foil which is bonded to high density kraft papers,which are then bonded together with a heavy coating of flame retardant adhesive. The product has a high tear strength and comes with a blue face in order to aid with the reflective glare when installing.

Tyvek Homewrap

Tyvek homewrap is a unique breathable building product in which has microscopic pores that are large enough for vapor to pass, however small enough to resist air and liquid penetration. Tyvek homewrap aids in; reducing drafts, optimizing insulation and cutting energy costs.
