Finsbury trash pump

Finsbury trash pumps feature a heavy duty design and can be used in the construction or industrial workplace.  With self priming capabilities, these trash pumps have been made to transfer high volumes of dirty water with the aid of a solid cast iron impeller and internal casing.  The unique quick release system allows the Finsbury trash pump to remove debris efficiently from a clogged impeller.  The Finsbury trash pump is available in diesel or petrol and is easily maintained for a long service life.

Performance Data

Performance curves are based on a kinetic viscosity value of 1mm²/s and a density of 1000Kg/m³ at 20^oC.

Installation

The pump is to be installed in a horizontal position for both fixed and portable plants.  These self priming pumps require water in the pump case only for the initial pumping operation.  No water is necessary for subsequent pumping when the casing contains water.  For maximum efficiency, make the piping as short and straight as possible.  Make sure that clean water is pumped through the pump system prior to storing the unit as this will ensure a trouble free startup the next time the Finsbury trash pump is used.

Caution: These pumps should never run dry!
